+ Chetwynd
Listing Details
‘Formed in 2007, Chetwynd is a choir that takes its name from the family long-associated with its “home” since the outset, the church of St Mary the Virgin at Ingestre near Stafford ... The choir is well-suited to the intimate atmosphere of the church, in terms of both scale and repertoire. Properly described as a chamber choir, it is well-served in terms of soloists, accompanists and strength-in-depth across the range of parts. The choir performs two or three times a year, spending six to eight weeks in preparation for its concerts.’
