‘We are a friendly chamber choir of between 24 and 26 singers, which was established in 1991 ... and prepares for at least three concerts each year. Music is chiefly performed a cappella and soloists are usually taken from the choir ... Concerts are generally based on sacred pieces by British and European composers depending on the occasion ... We are always pleased to receive applications for membership. Prospective singers join the choir initially on a term's trial. The ability to sightread well is a distinct advantage, but not obligatory.’
