‘The Guilsfield Singers have gained a reputation for imaginative and exciting performances of a wide selection of choral works. They are a mixed choir, drawing on musical talent from the Welshpool, Newtown and Oswestry area of Powys and Shropshire ... Over the years the Choir has raised many thousands of pounds for both local and national charities and enjoyed success in choral competitions. Their repertoire includes choral music from the sixteenth to the twenty-first centuries, including modern day composers and arrangers.’
