‘Formed in 2011 by a group of local musicians and music teachers, and incorporates singers and players of all ages and from all walks of life. We aim to provide high quality live music in local venues, and to create enjoyable, challenging and varied performing experiences for our players and singers. We have performed large and small scale concerts in churches in Hull, Beverley and Driffield, raising money for charities and good causes. One of our principles is to offer a continually surprising programme. One concert might be a small-scale chamber concert featuring Baroque repertoire, and the next might be a large symphony or a large-scale choral work.’
