Named after the daughter of Sir Edward Elgar, the choir ... was founded in 2011, their first performance (featuring many of Elgar's unaccompanied choral works) taking place in a tiny Cotswold church ... The group frequently draws upon the latest research in musicology and collaborates with leading scholars to produce highly original and insightful programmes which contain a whole host of discoveries for audience members. The choir has maintained a tradition of performing in rural areas, and continues to visit more remote locations as well as appearing at more familiar venues.’
