‘Choral music forms a central part of and pivotal role in the worship at Sheffield Cathedral, with around 40 boys, girls and men singing regular services, as well as performing for a wide variety of special occasions in the Cathedral and beyond ... The Cathedral is often a centre for workshops and singing days given by distinguished visiting musicians ... Regular lunchtime recitals are held at 1:15pm on Fridays during term time. These are performed by a variety of musicians, both local and from further afield, from students to professional musicians.’
