‘Founded in 1979. It exists to promote live classical music of the highest calibre in Cambridge and the surrounding villages. It presents outstanding soloists, chamber ensembles and orchestras as well as supporting talented young artists at the beginning of their careers. It provides a platform for the works of living composers as well as more familiar repertoire, all performed in beautiful historic settings in and around our great city.’ Cambridge Summer Music Festival held Mid July.

‘Cambridgeshire Music is the county hub for music education and arts therapies. We make high quality music happen all across Cambridgeshire for young people and families – both in and out of school. We organise thousands of music lessons, bands and projects in all styles of music, as well as arts therapies for all ages. We work in partnership with hundreds of professional musicians and organisations.’

‘Harmonia Music was founded by Kirsty Body B.Ed. in 1999 and provides a wide variety of musical activities in schools and beyond. Regular groups include Harmonia Singers (ladies choir) and Harmonia African Drummers (age 8 to adult).’ Based in and around Huntingdon and Cambridge.
