‘Based in the heart of the Somerset Levels and members come from villages all around the area. We come from all walks of life and range in age from 18 upwards! We started out in 2008 with a £500 grant from Somerset District Council with just a handful of members. Now, we have around 40 active members and new singers regularly come to join us. We have lots of experienced singers too who enjoy helping out with our learning. We enjoy peforming each year at local events and we also support larger events like the Bristol Choirs Convention and Sing for Water ...’

‘Provides Musical Theatre shows, workshops and events for 6-25 year olds ... Many of our performers have gone on to work in film, television and in theatre accross the country and on the West End. We guarentee all students will have the opportunity to perform in two shows a year. We offer trips and experiences worldwide including dancing on London's West End, performing at the Royal Albert Hall and global performing arts trips. Our classess are friendly, welcoming and a brilliant blend of humour, professionalism and talent.’ Academies take place in Bridgwater and other locations in Somerset.

'Volunteer run independent organisation. There is a managing board of directors and trustees, supported by a network of volunteers all of whom have a part to play in making things happen. We run a theatre programme of performance, music and film; plus workshops, classes and clubs in a wide range of arts disciplines. Our facilities are available to hire, for professional and community groups.'
