Founded in August 2006: Mission * To grow and diversify year on year; * To support and enable the arts; * To create a platform for local, national and international artists; * To encourage participation in the arts; * To raise funds for one local and one national charity each year. Held Late August.

'The inspiration of the late John Reid who, in partnership with Bridgnorth Councils and collaboration with Robbins Landon, had organised the annual event since 1993 ... The Festival offers a fascinating array of the music of Joseph Haydn and his contemporaries.' Held Mid July.

‘Play all your favourite music in the Alveley Village Band. Our members go away happy and refreshed after playing the best arrangements possible for brass, woodwind, strings and percussion. We are unique - our band offers parts for all instruments so all musicians can participate. We guarantee you'll love being part of the band. Local children give the band a thumbs-up too! Come and join us!’

'We have 30 or so members coming from all walks of life. Age is not a factor as men of all ages are made very welcome. All enjoy the singing, fellowship and fun the choir affords ... If you enjoy singing and want to sing well, then you will fit perfectly in our choir. There are no auditions and no requirement to be able to read music although of course it helps ... Bridgnorth Male Voice Choir does not consider itself to be an elitist choir. We exist for men who want to sing to be given a chance to perform. So come along to one of our practices, sit down and try it out ...'

‘Formed in 2005 with the aim of promoting and performing a wide variety of music. We are a choir of between 50 to 60 Sopranos, Altos, Tenors and Basses. Choir members come from the local community of Bridgnorth, surrounding villages, the West Midlands and as far away as Oxfordshire! The Choir produces concerts generally at Easter and Christmas and occasionally has an extra concert in the summer depending on availability and numbers.’
