‘Based in North Lancashire, in the traditional seaside town of Morecambe. The Association consists of two bands catering for all musical abilities and interests, from beginner upwards to seasoned professional. The bands play regularly in local concerts and music festivals across Lancashire and Cumbria ... The Brass Academy is for anyone, of any age, who is interested in learning to play a brass instrument. As students improve they are then encouraged to start the progression through the organisation, integrating Morecambe Bay Brass and eventually the Senior Band.’
