‘Brass band based on the south side of Glasgow, Scotland ... The Band plays regular concerts in and around Glasgow, at venues including Rutherglen Town Hall and St Andrew's in the Square, and at events such as the city's West End Festival. In addition to the Senior Band, the band operates a Youth Band, Junior Band and Learners programme. Tuition is provided free of charge in order to offer local children the best opportunity possible to learn to play a brass instrument.’
