Based in Bathgate in West Lothian, they perform in various concerts throughout the year in the community as well as contesting in many prestigious competitions throughout Scotland. The Band also ... does charity work in and throughout Scotland by both playing in hospitals and residential homes as well as raising money for local and national charities ... Bathgate Youth Band’s programme is designed to provide access to music making opportunities, within a brass band environment, for young people within our catchment area. The band are always looking for new members.’
