‘Based in the town of Borehamwood in Hertfordshire although some of our players come from surrounding areas ... Founded in 1971, when pupils from the former Holmshill School Brass Band ... found themselves with no musical outlet on leaving school ... The Band performs throughout the year but most of our engagements are in the June/ July and Christmas seasons. We have a wide selection of music which has been acquired over many years. Our library includes many of the classic brass band pieces as well as “pop”, film and TV themes, and many solo pieces.’
