'Formed in the mid 1970s when a group of young musicians finished their time at school, but still wanted to enjoy playing in a Brass Band. Soon after this our Junior Band was also started. For over 30 years it has been based in the Band Club in the centre of Brackley. Some players still remain from the early days. The Band has contested at all levels over the years, competing against some of the top bands in the country ... Majors and Minors was formed in 2014 with the aim to provide a group for young brass musicians, run by the members for the members in an atmosphere where they can develop and above all, have fun making music!'

'The objective of the Choir is to provide an opportunity for local men to meet regularly and make music together whilst supporting and entertaining local charities and organisations with concerts. There are no auditions to join; all you need is an enthusiasm and a love of singing. Our repertoire is based on traditional male voice choral pieces, interspersed with songs from the shows and popular music.'

'Formed in 2004 as a result of an off shoot of Brackley Music School. We perform a wide variety of music from Baroque music, to traditional classical pieces by Mozart and Beethoven, through to more "contemporary" works such as music by the Beatles and modern film music ... We have players from Brackley, Banbury, Towcester, Buckingham and surrounding villages ... Whether modern or traditional, the pieces that we play are well suited to a wind ensemble and are both fun to play and to listen to.'
