‘Based in the small Bedfordshire village of Dunton, Biggleswade, Dunton Folk organises a series of folk music concerts and traditional sessions throughout the year. In addition we also organise the annual Wassail in an orchard in the centre of Dunton.  The folk music concerts take place in the superb setting of St Mary Magdalene Church ... The acoustics of the church lend themselves to live music and a superb atmosphere is generated when live music is performed. A full bar is provided at all of our concerts.’

'A family run music school based on the Bedfordshire/Cambridgeshire border ... Established in 2003 by the Goldman family, it quickly gained a reputation for being one of the best privately run music schools in the country. It provides high quality one-to-one tuition by qualified and experienced specialist teachers, readily accepting students of all ages and abilities. Online lessons mean that students attend from across Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire as well as other parts of the UK and overseas.'

‘Come along and bring your ukulele, if you have one, or just listen. I would be very surprised if you could get through our Friday evening session without singing. It's very infectious and you'll be made to feel very welcome. If you don't want to play ukulele but love singing we are always looking for people to join the SUGS choir, who are very much part of the overall group sound.‘

'We currently have about 70 members. We perform at least 3 concerts a year at various venues in the area ... We often combine with other adult and junior choirs, soloists and instrumentalists both amateur and professional. We are a friendly and active society and organise fund raising and varied social events for the enjoyment of members and guests.'

'Community wind band for all ages. We rehearse once a week during school term times, with three concerts a year in different locations. It seeks to provide players, particularly younger musicians, the chance to play together as a group and therefore to progress in their ability to play music alongside more experienced players (young and old) ... The band plays all types of music ... The challenge for the players is to learn new tunes from all genres for each concert, so you will always have a reason to practice.'

‘We are a group of male singers based in Potton, Bedfordshire. Currently we have about sixty members of all ages, mostly amateur singers drawn from the local area with a significant number travelling from different parts of the region ... We meet every week to rehearse and sing for our own pleasure and we take part in competitions and public performances throughout the year. Our repertoire is rich and varied, encompassing the roots of barbershop music, sentimental lullabies and stirring upbeat numbers. Timeless classics, hits from the musical theatre and modern standards all have their place.‘
