+ Swing Unlimited Big Band

‘Founded in 2001 with the primary aim of providing opportunities for local musicians to play the widest possible range of “Big Band” music. Following on from this was the desire to perform this music, bringing pleasure to local audiences ... There are over 120 musicians currently members of the SUBB Group. They all have one thing in common - a love of live music making and a desire to be the best that they can be. Membership is drawn from all walks of life, professional musicians, doctors, teachers, students, even professional ebayers! Musicians are generally attached to one band, but some members do appear in several groups.’ The Groups include: Swing Unlimited Big Band; Swing Unlimited Community Big Band; Swing Unlimited Dance Band. There is also a Swing Unlimited Jazz Club.
