'Founded in 1999 to support the development of youth music opportunities in the County. In 2011 the Trust took over running the Youth Music Courses, which were formerly run by the Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire Councils, and these successful courses are now expanding. We run holiday courses for students who already play an instrument or sing but who are looking to take part in high quality ensembles or groups. Our current groups include orchestras, wind and concert bands, string groups, chamber groups, a choir and a Youth Opera production. And we have plans to expand provision over the next few years.'

'Visits to churches and organs in the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire area and further afield, with the opportunity to play and hear the organs and meet other members; Celebrity organ recitals and lectures; Recitals by our members and guests from other organist associations; Meetings with discussions on subjects of interest to organists and enthusiasts; An annual outing, visiting major organs in Cathedrals, Major City Centre Parish Churches, City Halls etc where members can play or listen to the instrument; Visits to the workshops of organ builders'

‘We are a company of over 40 singers and instrumentalists. We perform fully-staged operas’  ... Aim is ‘to encourage and promote vocal classical music, especially opera, through creative professional performance in local communities – primarily Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, and also elsewhere in the UK where appropriate – making it accessible in language, venue and price; through such events, we aim to raise funds for local, national and international charities’.
