'Neston Music Festival in its current incarnation was founded in 2017 by a like-minded group of Neston residents building on the Festival’s earlier form as a weekend of “classical” concerts at Neston Parish Church. The first Festival in spring 2018, which aimed to bring to Neston musicians who would not normally perform in the town, was a resounding success and the organisers agreed to make it a regular event and to seek more participants.'  Held Late April - May.

'We are a mixed choir, with about 60 voices. Our repertoire is very varied and includes sacred music, folk songs, songs from the shows, and Gilbert & Sullivan ... We are always delighted to welcome new members ... Many of us remember that daunting first step through the door to something new, however, you can be sure of a very warm welcome and we know you will wonder why it took you so long to join us!'

Formed in 1996 with five members and now has about two dozen. Typically, gives four or five concerts per annum.

'Look, we’re friendly and we certainly don’t bite. We’re not scary. Yes, we sing what you might call a more traditional repertoire, and, yes, we have fun! New members are always welcome to our friendly choir, and no formal audition is required. You do not need to be able to read music, as we learn all of our music during our weekly rehearsals. You’ll find you’ll learn how to read music as we go along ... We sing a wide range of peices in our three concerts per year.'

'We are a friendly band and we contest as and when possible. We have a fairly busy concert schedule throughout the year. The age group range from school to retirement. A warm welcome awaits you ...'

'With origins in the last decade of the 19th century the PSO is one of the village's oldest institutions. Concerts are normally in the Lady Lever Art Gallery at 2:30 pm on Sunday afternoons.'

‘A long established group of singers who enjoy performing a wide variety of choral music with members coming from Heswall and surrounding areas of the Wirral. The main concerts of the choir are performed ... at Easter and Christmas. However we often have additional rehearsals during the Summer leading to a further concert. Over the years the choir has widened its appeal and now draws its audiences from across Wirral.’

‘Our ladies' choir has been making music together for over 60 years, forming life long friendships and establishing ourselves as one of Wirral's best-loved ladies' choirs. From Beethoven to The Beatles, from Madrigals to Freddie Mercury, if you enjoy singing, there's bound to be something for you. Based in Bebington, we welcome women of all ages to come and join us.’

‘The Gladstone Theatre is situated in the Garden Village founded in 1888 by William Hesketh Lever to house his soap factory workers ... The Theatre has been home to many famous shows, artists, both actors and musicians alike, comedians, dancers, and every one adds to the theatres character. It is also used by Local Operatic Societies, Musical Groups, Youth Organisations, and Dancing Schools, but it would of course be nothing without you, the audience.‘
