Founded 2007: ‘I love the fact that I'm able to empower women with confidence and a new “Diva” attitude. I'm so proud of the way we improve, the experiences we share and of friendships that will last a lifetime. DaleDiva is all about sharing the journey - and I don't ever want it to end ... Since our early days progress has been swift and successful with highlights including medals in various national and international competitions, recording albums and winning Channel 5's "Don't Stop Believing". Our achievements mean we're a popular chorus and now have a thorough audition process and probation period to make sure our standards stay high. But despite our success we never lose sight of who we are. We're ordinary women doing extraordinary things - and singing together because we love it’.

‘An enthusiastic group of over fifty men who enjoy singing together in the four-part close-harmony Barbershop style. NB the term “chorus” is the American term for choir. Our main reason for singing is entertainment, both for our audiences and ourselves, but we also take part in competitions from time to time. Over the years the chorus has enjoyed considerable success, for example, winning the gold medal on five occasions at the UK National Barbershop Convention ... In fact, the chorus has never been out of the top few positions in all the years it has been eligible to compete in this competition. Our members love to sing and we take every opportunity to share our love of barbershop and our passion for harmony, wherever we can. Since its establishment in 1976, LABBS has grown to have 50 clubs and over 2000 members who are located up, down and across the country from Cornwall to Scotland. The choruses vary in size and are made up of women of all ages but at the heart is their shared love of singing, friendship and being part of a modern and dynamic association.‘
